FORMULA: 200 g jar.
Each 100 g contains:
100 mg ivermectin
Sulfur 20 g
Excipient qs 100 g
HOW TO APPLY ADECTO OITMENT:
DOSE:
Use latex gloves for the application.
Take a small amount of Adecto ointment and rub on the surface of the skin affected by scabies, allowing leave a small layer thereon. Avoid contaminating the rest of the product using a new glove before the next application.
Depending on the response repeat the dose until 7 days after the first application.
HOW IT WORKS:
Through the release of gamma-amino-butyric acid (GABA), an inhibitory neurotransmitter type that prevents the transmission of nerve impulses of neurons in the ventral cord to motor neurons. Causing paralysis and death of the parasite.
The use of sulfur as a therapeutic agent for various dermatologic disorders induces different histological changes, including hyperkeratosis, acanthosis and expansion of the dermal vasculature which facilitates penetration acaricide.

INDICATIONS:
Acaricide topic indicated for the treatment and control of mange in dogs, caused by mites of the genus: Sarcoptes scabiei and Demodex canis .
